So the sound didn't work, I just figured out that my built in webcam doesn't have a built in mic. I just said that video would really be useful if you were to do a section of french cuisine you could have a french chef do a quick video on how to use something like butter in french cooking, etc.

Synchronous Video
I talked with my dad on skype today! I actually really liked it, I'd heard about skype before but had never thought about it really until it was assigned for us to do, and I got to chat with my dad, who I haven't seen for a while now, which was fantastic. I think that this could definitely be used in teaching, it would make it possible for lecturers of a small high school class to present without having to travel, so you could have the students talk to people from other countries, cultures, and backgrounds to help teach the concept you are currently working on. Imagine having a cooking class where a french chef is the teacher for the day!
